I could have avoided pressing this cream of asparagus soup through a sieve altogether, if I'd thought about that earlier. Ethan's really good at that part, fortunately. (not posting the recipe, because it is, other than the rosemary, straight from James Peterson's "Vegetables" cookbook.)

Friday, May 17, 2002 Why Aunt May Could Kick MJ’s Pretty Little Ass "Boston's Weekly Dig.com" published a feminist critique of MJ's character in the Spiderman movie. Check it out. While one might quibble with the details, I find the basic premise sound: this movie departs from the comic book in many ways, updating the story for modern audiences, but MJ is thoroughly stuck in the sexist past of wimpy women.
