05/19/2002 Entry: lazy red wine reduction sauce
"Lazy" because it uses two of my favorite lazy-cook products: truffle-infused honey and garlic-infused olive oil.
all quantities are approximate.
1 to 1-1/2 cup red wine
2T truffle-infused honey
2T garlic-infused olive oil
dash white balsamic vinegar
dash soy sauce
heat slowly, stirring periodically, until syrupy.

On your wine reduction recipe,
if you add a teaspoon of
butter at the end of the
reducton, it will give it
a glossy shine.
