11/08/2001 Entry: good news

My skirt from Piedmont finally arrived (a year late). I'm still pissed off at them, though; nobody should be treated as rudely as I was, under any circumstances.

Hey, sorry to hear that. If it's the Piedmont here in SF, I've always had good experiences with them, but they are expensive. It's possible they're better as a store than as a mail-order outlet. Best of luck with future shopping!

PS: Don't know if you remember me, but I used to post sometimes on soc.bi and the poly under 30 list a few years ago. I think we disagreed a few times, but I always enjoyed your posts.

Yeah, that was the SF Piedmont. They were really nice to me when I was in the store trying things on. I ordered the skirt when I was in the store, because they didn't have exactly what I wanted & said they'd make it for me; perhaps I exposed an unexplored boundary in their process.

Future shopping will occur at http://www.peglutz.com -- she sent me a huge envelope of fabric swatches last week!
