The first step in writing a manifesto is to penetrate the indoctrination that injustice is inevitable.

10/31/2001 Entry: Halloween

Lovely Halloween -- full moon, and enough wind to send the leaves swirling around the streets and the clouds skittering across the sky. A nice night to sit with friends and watch a movie -- which is exactly what we did.

I even managed to put most of my web-page color-scheming out of my head for awhile. The journal redesign has begun to inspire the rest of my site; Molly and Ethan both enthused about the purple I set up, so as of yesterday, that is now gracing my main page. I want to put together a different set of colors for each section...of course, that means the purple, my favorite, is on the fewest pages. I should do something about that. The "creative" main page is now sporting blue. At this rate, with 150 pages to re-do, I should be done in early summer. :) I wonder if linking off my homepage will encourage me to write in this more often? And if that means this is just going to get more banal? Hm, I suppose banal is why some people read these things.

To answer my own question about rationally sized fun clothing, I've been looking at Peggy Lutz. Yum.
