What do all those buttons mean, anyway?

If you're viewing this with a graphical browser, you may see a row of buttons across the bottom of the page. Each of these buttons is a link to one of my pages, and some of my pages have this button bar. When I finish the 2001 redesign, all the pages will instead have plainetext-links, and this page will probably go away -- as will, probably, the entire tech section, I'm afraid.
