Priest Goes Topside

IMGP2034.JPG
The good side.
IMGP2029.JPG
The downside of assless chaps...
IMGP2032.JPG
Something that really wanted to poke me in the backside tore into my wallet and shredded my Genuardi's Club Card, shown here on top of the "warning" from the cop.
IMGP2051.JPG
Just a nip off the front fender...
IMGP2049.JPG
Tanked...A
IMGP2041.JPG

IMGP2048.JPG
Tanked...B
IMGP2044.JPG
Somehow the reservoir still holds brake pressure.
IMGP2045.JPG
The mirror survived despite the top of the brake caliper being ground flat.
IMGP2046.JPG
The return(?) throttle cable was pinched when the brake caliper rotated around the bar and wrenched the cable fitting out the housing, pinching it down at a 90-deg angle. Shown here righted for the return crawl.
IMGP2050.JPG
Case guards held up well - no damage to the engine or pipes or frame.
IMGP2036.JPG
Broken footpeg mount.
IMGP2035.JPG
Surface scrapes on carbon fiber exhaust can.
IMGP2039.JPG
Tail piece and exhaust can saved the turn signal anyway...
IMGP2052.JPG
Ahhh... recovery. Sorry - wrong file...
